I'm at Troxy, waiting for one of my favorite bands to get on stage. Fat Freddy's Drop is on tour again and I've been wanting to see them for four years now. And tonight I've got a cold... But that isn't stopping me. A fever, yes. Sore throat, probably would. A runny nose, not gonna happen.
I'm equipped with a purse full of paper tissues and I'm going straight to bed after the show. No socializing, and getting to know new people. No looking around to see if anyone I know is here (however unlikely that I'd find the few I know, that live in this city and like FFD, among all the people at this establishment.
I've found a seat, that probably has a decent view even when people get up, and I'm here to enjoy the music. Time to rock! (sorta)
